We’re small.
The Buck Family Foundation is a small, family-run, foundation. Our service projects and annual grants are guided by our family members’ interests and how they wish to engage in their community.
2025 (so far)
We built a Little Free Pantry, assembled care packages for the homeless, and began writing Pen Pals that are currently detained. Stay tuned for more!
2024
So far in 2024, our focus has been on financial donations that are providing healthcare to the families impacted by conflict in Palestine and Lebanon with Medical Aid for Palestine (UK based) and supporting community at home fighting racism against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders with Stop AAPI Hate. Check back for our 990 Tax Form.
2023
In our first full year of operation, we completed several small service projects, the biggest of which was in support of Books4Taiwan through the donation of more than 100 books to their programs. See our Annual Report here or our 990 Tax filing here.
Before
Long before we were a nonprofit, we were a family with a mission. Our passions have driven us to volunteer for youth sports, literacy programs, litter collection, grassroots development efforts, and more.

Boxes of books being prepared for the African Library Project

Volunteers unloading boxes from the trucks in Kenya to bring books to their new libraries.

We enjoy biking and work with both local and international organizations to bring reliable bikes to those that need them.

Cleaning litter has been a passion of ours for a very long time.

One park visit yielded two bags of trash!

Coaching is a valuable way to support youth in your community.
